A Lip Scrub So Moisturizing

It’s that time of the year again, folks. The temperature drops ever so slightly and our Instagram feeds are flooded with #SweaterWeather and #PumpkinSpiceEverything. Not going to lie, the break from the humidity is kind of nice, but I don’t want to let go of summer and I most definitely don’t want the annoying chapped lips that come with the change in seasons. Especially since I’m taking accutane.

From DIY to overly expensive lip scrubs, I have tried them all. Fresh, Dior and the classic coconut oil and sugar concoction have all made me feel some type of way, but French Girl’s Rose Lip Polish is next level. Coming from a girl who has been taking accutane for 6 months, I have tried so many lip moisturizing and exfoliating products that don’t hit the nail on the head.

After trying the Rose Lip Polish from French Girl, I can actually look cute in Dior’s Rouge 999 without my lips crumbling to nothing. It’s so moisturizing and smooths out my lips in seconds if I forget to lather myself in Aquaphor the night before. Literally seconds, I swear!

HOW TO

It’s pretty easy to use and smells amazing. I take a small amount on a q-tip and start to exfoliate my lips with hardly any pressure. When I first used it, I noticed that it was really grainy but once you massage it in, the scrub turns into an oil-like consistency. After I washed the scrub off with water, I was left with lips that felt like you are still wearing an entire tube of lip balm.

Incroyable! French Girl, I’m obsessed.
